A photography serie created in collaboration with photographer Alex Avgud. Through performative and embodied storytelling, the series features garment pieces developed during my Bachelors education, which collage archetypical menswear and womenswear pieces. The images showcase the fluidity of gender and the intersection between traditional gender norms and contemporary fashion. Avgud's photography captures the intricate details of the garments as well as the emotional intensity of embodied performances. Through showcasing the duality that exists within fashion and bodies as mediums for self-expression and gender identity, this series invites viewers to explore their potentialities.
The story was exclusively developed for PINEAPPLE Issue #5 but was also published on their online platform with additional interviews.
