embodied studies (un)dressing ornament
Existing within the realm of (De-)Ornament, I designed a series of performative embodied research works, aiming to deconstruct the gender binary fashion ornament. Through experimenting with placing my own body and consciousness in processes of ornamenting and de-ornamenting garments, I try to create understanding and meaning in the way garments are gendered through ornamentation.
